Beginning Phase

I sit here thinking about how I should begin. I can’t help but smile. It’s August, my birth month.

I’m excited. It’s a fresh start…A rebirth.

Ageing is a priviledge. And every year I am grateful.

I started this blog because I want to tell my story.

I don’t want to forget all of those precious memories. And I’ve learned a lot along the way…

I want to share my knowledge..

Beauty will always be a passion of mine.

I studied make up artistry because I believe that Beauty is everywhere. It’s within us and also outside in the outer world.

There is also beauty in the light… in the dark… there is beauty in the colors.

And as we grow, in each step, in each phase there’s beauty. Thus, Fase Beauty is born.

I created the name: Fase Beauty. Fase is the italian word for Phase. It reminds me of a step by step procedure of making up a face, of creating an image, and of finding the true essence of oneself. In each phase, we learn, we evolve.. as art evolves, that is why I quote:

Il trucco è una forma d’arte che mostra ogni fase della nostra essenza.

Makeup is a form of art that shows each phase of our essence.

I think about the moon, how each time it has a different phase depending upon how the sunlight touches its surface and how it shows down here on earth.

It’s the same with beauty and make up. Each make up has a phase, it shows what we want to show, we can enhance any part we want. And the studio light, however it is projected to the face of a person, what side or what part, it changes… like the moon.

I also want to mention that beauty has phases not only make up. It comprises everything that builds up our whole being. Like skin care, self care and health.
