I’ve mentioned this in all of my other articles. I have always had skin issues. It’s been a problem of mine since I was a teenager. Unfortunately it’s not fully resolved. Up until now in my 30s, I still have breakouts from time to time.
This is why I tried this product out.
This is the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Anti Imperfezione . It is a product which reduces the appearance of breakouts and prevents marks. I have tried this product and I am in the middle ground. It belongs to the Effaclar line which targets oily skin and acne-prone skin. Obviously this is supposed to be a product for me.
The active ingredients are:
- Niacinamide for reducing redness and soothing effect
- Piroctolamin to combat bacteria
- LHA to contrast skin imperfection
These are all good skin ingredients. This product also claims to be very gentle to sensitive skin as well.
This should be applied on top of the infected area, just a little product on the acne. And whenever I use this product I did notice the difference, the fastest was a day. I don’t know to what it depends on. There were times it worked and there were times when it didn’t. But I can’t decide, to be honest. There were times when a bump would completely go away overnight and there were times that a stubborn pimple would stay no matter how many times I apply this corrector.
All I know is that I am not gonna purchase this again.
Fortunately, I have learned to regulate how my skin is whenever I do have breakouts. And I know it all comes down to stuff like what I eat, when I don’t sleep, or stress. I have my other skin care products which takes care of my skin and I do think this is just an extra if you want something more.
