I love Nutella.
It has been my favourite hazelnut cream spread eversince I was a kid. I remember my mom sending us packages of goodies with Nutella inside. I was still in the Philippines, in my origin country and my mom’s been here in Rome since the early 90s. And like what I said I already had a taste back then. I came here in Italy as a teenager and from then on it became a more common household spread. It is not hard not to buy it from the local grocery store. It is everywhere. And I am super glad!

This is I think one of the most succesful international brands ever from Italy. It is under the mother brand Ferrero which is again has been in the industry for so many years now. The best chocolates comes from Ferrero. Nutella spread being the first and the oldest of them all.
I found out from their website, that the spouses Piera e Piero Ferrero from Piemonte, north of Italy, had a pastry shop back in the beginning. And their son together with Piero’s brother was able to create products which turned the Pastry Shop into an actual production company. They have been able to expand in Europe and then all over the world.
They created this sweet paste of hazelnut, sugar and cacao, giving life to the first ever: Giandujot in 1946 which was very popular during “Carnevale” season. It is a loaf-shaped paste that can be cut into slices and spread in to bread.
In 1951 It evolved into Supercrema. From the loaf-shaped form it became a cream easier to spread because of the creamy texture.
Finally, Nutella® was born in 1964. Now in the all-new unique jar and new improved ingredients!

The taste of Nutella is very distinct because it has both nuts and cacao as ingredients. The creamyness is awesome! Mhmm just thinking about it makes my mouth water.
It is a creamy spread that you can eat with bread, pizza, biscuits and it is also used as a cream or topping for cakes and other sweets!

Overall, how can you not love Nutella. I mean I have since I was a kid and still up to this day now that I am an adult, this is still part of my diet.
Some healthy advocates would say, Nutella isn’t healthy, it is still chocolate blah blah. Well, I have always said this in my videos and in all of my other articles. The secret, at least for me, is taking everything in moderation. I am not eating Nutella 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Nor it can replace my everyday meal. But from time to time, I believe I can give myself a break and just eat whatever my heart wants. There are other unhealthy food out there that we still eat, right, although we know they can be bad for us. Just don’t exaggerate. And that for me is very important. I will not renounce my love for chocolate or Nutella for this matter just cause. And I will definitely recommend you try it if you haven’t yet LOL although I doubt you still haven’t already.
Just like what their slogan is: Nutella gives a sweet smile and positivity. It is a way of celebration and it’s love in a jar that we can share in a lot of ways =)
I think Nutella’s overall message is:
Smile. Be Positive. Celebrate. Share. Love.
