La Roche-Posay Nutritic

I am back again with another La Roche-Posay product. This time, it is not skin care but a lip product.

Nutritic lips is a treatment for dry lips. This is part of their line called Nutritic which caters to dry and very dry skin types.

I have never planned on buying this. I just saw it beside the cash register at the farmacia when I was about to pay for the medicine that I bought. And I got curious. I haven’t thought that La Roche-Posay has a lip balm. And being a lover of the brand, I wanted to try it out.

I don’t really have very particular dry lips. Although I do suffer with it during the winter season just like we all do. So I have always been a fan of lip balms. I just wrote an article about my lip balm and lip glosses collection. I did say that I prefer applying lip balms rather than lip glosses.

Nutritic Levres can be applied morning and evening just like any other balm for the lips.

It’s a fine textured balm. I like it because I have tried other lip balms in the past that kind of makes my lips very oily and I look like I ate something oily and fried. LOL

I know that in the end almost all balms has the hydration property. It is what they do and what they are for.

I appreciate that Nutritic Levres has thermale water and therefore it can be absorbed immediately. This what makes the formula not sticky on the lips.

Biolipids and Ceramide 5 are both present and these contrasts the lack of ceramides, provide nutrients and restore the lips’ long-term barrier.

The main ingredients that this lip balm has are:

MP Lipids uses biomimetics which results on the following triple action:

• reactivates the lipid synthesis of the lips
• reactivates the synthesis of natural factors of hydration
• helps reinforce the cellular structures of the lips and restores its barrier function

Karite’ butter reconstructs the film hydro lipids with its repairing and soothing properties

Ceramide repairs and protects the lips barriers. Has nutrients and makes the lips plumped.

If you are curious to try it I will be biased and recommend it hahaha. I love La Roche-Posay but other lip balms does a good job as well.
