Greek yogurt ice cream

I have another yummy gelato that I would like to share with you all!

If you love yogurt, well then, this is another creamy cold treat that would satisfy your cravings!

320 g tub 100% recyclable

So you would imagine that this ice cream has authentic greek yogurt as a base. It is fresh and creamy, and ideal for snacking this summer and as dessert as well!
It is so delicious and yet very light. I chose just plain ‘naturale’.

The natural flavour is also simple and yet versatile as you can mix in fruits, chocolate and create your own combination of flavors! Drop in whatever you want!

Ingredients are:

  • Reconstituted skim milk
  • Greek yogurt 2%
  • fat 20% (skim milk, cream, lactic ferments: Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus bulgaricus)
  • sugar
  • dextrose
  • vegetable oil (coconut) maltodextrin
  • yogurt flavor (inulin, maltodextrin, flavorings, acidity regulator: citric acid; lactic ferments)
  • invert sugar
  • emulsifiers: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids
  • stabilizers: carrageenan, locust bean gum, guar gum.

They have diminished their sugar by 10% in their ingredients. That is what is written in their website and I truly appreciate that. As we all try to look for something cold to eat during this hot summer, eating lots of sugar is not enjoyable as well. So I like how I can be mindful of what I eat but at the same time still enjoy the treats that I love. I mean.. who wouldn’t want an ice cream every now and then?!?

By the way this is absolutely gluten free so for all of you who are allergic to gluten, this is safe for you. It is also proud to be ogm free!

Pavlakis has products like greek yogurt, cheese and other greek treats that you will love.

I have loved their greek yogurt line and have repurchased them again and again. I can’t go back to any other yogurt anymore! That is why when I saw this ice cream I got excited!

Pavlakis takes Greece as their standard for producing products like uncontaminted air and land, wide pastures of local farmers and animals free to live in their places and are checked regularly.

I am really surprised about this because they actually produce products like that of the natural process to the greek tradition.

Pavlakis’ objective is to produce food available for all, products that are rich in protein perfect for people with active lifestyle , calcium-rich food for kids, and also versatile food items which can be used in the kitchen for the creatives. In fact, they have recipes in their website available for everyone who wants to try using the products for desserts and dishes. They also opted for packages and format to satisfy the needs of each consumer.

Pavlakis is proud to be 100% Greek. In fact, the labels in all Pavlakis products, has production establishment in Greece, and the origin of prime materials, like the fresh cow’s milk are 100% from north Greece.

Aside from yogurt ice cream, they have other products like feta cheese, melted yogurt, yogurt duo and sauce which are perfect to go with a lot of specialty.
