Another set of make up items from Equilibra, the brand that I have featured a bunch of times last month!
I also have the lipsticks, guys!
I did mention last week that I own two products from this brand: Love’s Nature. Well, not only two pencils but two types of make up items LOL eye pencils and… lipsticks!
I have three Love’s Nature Lipsticks: two shades of rosa delicato (delicate rose) and one borgogna intenso (intense burgundy). It says on the description on their website that these are rich in natural pigments. These lipsticks contain:
Shea Butter: for protection and for elasticity
Jojoba oil: emollient
Vitamin E: antioxidant
Salts of Hyaluronic Acid: nourish and moisturize the lips
Mineral Pigments: for pure and intense colo.
As a result in using these lipsticks are full and soft lips enhanced by intense color and matte finish.
Just like all Love’s Nature make up items, these are all paraben free, silicon free, no petrolatum and no PEG, without synthetic coloring agents.
It boasts to have 99% natural ingredients, compatible to skin types and tested on sensitive skin and it is nickel tested, too! It is also eco friendly.
4 ml ℮ 0,14 fl.oz.
I think one of the make up items that I like are lipsticks. Though this is the first time I am trying out a natural origin make up, lipstick.
It has been months that I have been using it but I should be honest with you as I always am in all of the products that I share with you. I am not really satisfied about it.
I have tried it alone, I have combined it with other lipsticks, I wore it with a lipgloss, and the result is the same. It seems to dry out matte but unfortunately just like all matte lipsticks do, they dry out my lips tremendously. But I like that it glides smoothly on the lips upon application.
top shade: intense burgundy – second shade: delicate rose
The colors are true to their names as they are, the rose shade is very pretty but I look sick whenever I wear it alone hahaha! I think that is the color that suits light skin tones, while the intense burgundy shade is.. intense hahahaha for those who prefer darker shades. But they have other shades of course and I appreciate the variety.
It seems to last for hours and that surprised me honestly, I didn’t expect too much about the longevity. And I already did mention this, for me, longevity is very important because I don’t retouch at all during the day, once I have it on my face, the make up should be budge-proof for lots of hours, especially if I am working.
Would I recommend this lipstick? Hmmm this is not expensive but not affordable either so you really have to be able to test it yourself. I think it is not worth the price, honestly. I am not sure how many other options are in the market regarding natural make up. But if you are not very particular in this, I would say- pass. If you like natural makeup then maybe yes, I mean, I appreciate all of the claims and the ingredients are actually very good on our lips.
I hope this helps a little bit. If you do own one let me know your thoughts in the comments down below. Did it work for you or did you like it?
Thank you for reading! See you on my next article! Ciao!
Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored article. All the products that I feature here in my blog I purchased myself. My opinion is based on my experience upon trying and using the product.
This is really a funny one. I have discussed a brand here in my blog but mostly about the main product line which is vitamins and food supplement although I did some research and I found out that they also have a beauty line, I didn’t figure out sooner that I actually own one!! No, actually two! So I was just blown away!
Equilibra Love’s Nature Eye pencils
This is the brand from Equilibra. They have a line called Love’s Nature Make up naturale
And these are all paraben free silicon free nopetrolatum and PEG, without synthetic coloring agents
I own two eye pencils one white and one violet
This is so affordable , and the pencil traces a smooth line which will define the eye’s intense look. And there are a bunch of colors available.
These natural wood pencils contain lead rich in mineral pigments, waxes and natural oils. Everything about it is made of natural ingredients and the pigments come from natural resources, too.
In fact the line is born out of passion for nature. The ingredients are all natural, thus the name of the line And all the products are 100% made and designed in Italy and nickel tested.
Equilibra Love’s Nature Eye pencils swatches: white and violet
The thing that I always try to search for in my make up is the longevity. I apply it in the morning and expect it to last me for a long while. I dont bring any with me for touch ups, just powder and lipstick that is all.
I also want to be honest, like in all of my articles I try my best to be objective and give you my honest opinion about all of the products that I tried and used.
These pencils don’t last that long. I have never found one anyway because usually pencils for me especially dark ones either smudges or just completely disappear LOL! And that is the main reason why I don’t reach for them always. I don’t feel the need to because of the risk of looking like a mess at the end of the day hehe.
Aaccording to the product description, these pencils are compatible to sensitive skin, nichel tested, dermatologically tested and oftalmologist tested.
Yes, I have sensitive skin but I never ever encountered any eye makeup that gave me any problems at all so I cannot speak about that. Well, I am just gonna mention these pencils didn’t irritate my eyes at all and I think that is a good thing. So if your eyes are sensitive, you are free to use or at least try these pencils.
Between these two colors I actually like the white one. White makes my eyes appear larger and that I appreciate. Although it is quite a bit soft, there is truly pigment in there. While the purple one, yeah I don’t really reach for it that much. I am so not into dark colors anyway in general. But again, these are not long-wearing enough for me. So you have to keep that in mind. It is something that won’t last that long. But if you like colors and just a simple eye pencil that you can use even for a short time, maybe these pencils will suite your taste.
That is all I am gonna say.
I hope you like this article. If you love make up and you are curious about this particular product I hope this helped a bit.
Again, thank you so much for reading. I’ll see you soon. Ciao
Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored article. All the products that I feature here in my blog I purchased myself. My opinion is based on my experience upon trying and using the product.
This is the only primer that I have purchased again and again. To tell you honestly I am not a face primer person. Therefore I have tried only a few. And that is mainly for make up school and for building my kit to use for other people’s faces. I am also the type of person who repurchase products if I am happy and content about them. And that is what happened. Yes I have tried others but this I think is what I really do need.
It never caused me any problems on my skin,(you already know! I have sensitive skin!) and in my opinion it does its job well.
Benefit’s website is simple and clear. They actually don’t have a lot of makeup products and mostly the ones that are featured are their best-sellers. The Porefessional is very well-known.
Pore-fect skin as they advertise. And this is the perfect primer for those of us who have large pores. The description says it is mattifying. It also minimizes the amount of dilated pores and small signs of expression lines and guarantees the long wear of foundations, for a long-day impeccable make up.
The POREfessional, is the secret agent with a special mission against oily skin and large pores.
These are mainly my skin problems that is why I like this product so much,
According to the product description, the formula is lightweight and transparent. It is appropriate for all skin types and contains derivatives of vitamin E, it is efficient in contrasting the effects of free radicals.
It can be applied all over the face, or to the areas of the face like your t-zone which tend to get easily oily like nose, forehead, cheeks and chin.
A porefect skin is a mission which is not impossible anymore with The Porefessional as it makes the skin smooth and mattified.
In the morning: apply the primer before applying your make up. extending the product from the center of the face going outwards, tapping it lightly using your fingers.
I personally like to apply it at the center, on my nose, around my nose extending outwards to my cheeks. a tiny bit on my forehead and also on my chin. These are all my problematic areas where I have visible large pores. And I think it smooths out my skin, and literally minimizes the pores! I do see the difference and the improvement on the texture of my skin.
Another interesting fun fact, according to the website in the product description. it is easy to carry it with you inside your bag and once the pores becomes visible again, it can be literally applied by tapping delicately on top of the make up! Like a retouch. I am kinda surprised, I am not aware of that LOL all these years I have always used this product before applying make up!
This is true, guys. Before I read this on their website, just recently, these past couple of months, before I practically read this on their website, I have been using it as such! I don’t apply it under make up anymore but instead after the foundation! I find it still very efficient like that in smoothing out my make up.
It is true how we evolve in how we do our make up routine despite using the same make up products.
i have always bought the small tube 7,5 ml. this is the mini, travel size tube because I don’t need that much, like what I said, I only apply it in certain areas, but not all over the face. And the full tube is really not that affordable for a product that I don’t even use that much. so I have always opted for the smallest tube.
How about you? What is your preferred face primer? Have you ever tried this from Benefit? Tell me all about it, I would love to hear your opinion down in the comments below.
Thank you so much for reading! See you on my next article!
Year 2021 is ending. I am happy about the result of my make up baskets this year. I finally found the courage to let go of the items that I know are not giving me real satisfaction.
I am only going to keep stuff that adds value in my lfe
BEFOREAFTER
As you can see, I added a set of eyeshadows from Deborah Milano, the “browns” and one nude lipstick from MAC called “kinda sexy”.
I had difficulty playing with colors as always hahaha. So that is the reason why I added a few neutral shades.
There’s very few change on the lipticks and the gloss. But I try to be consistent even though we are still wearing mask (eye roll).
I practically use foundation only on the half part of my face LOL. On a very normal life (without mask), I would have already finished the Nars bottle already. There’s little left but because of the “new normal”, applying face make up is a challenge.
I am gonna declutter that set from Deborah Milano, it is so blendable but lacks staying power. I have already discussed this in my other article. I already decluttered other 2 sets from anothe make up basket. I am just not impressed and I don’t want to keep stuffI know I am not gonna touch again.
Make up geek eyeshadow in “mesmerized” is AMAZING! I am truly mesmerized! It reminds me of the elf baked eyeshadow I owned years ago. I can’t believed I haven’t touch it immediately since I bought it.
The eyeshadow called “islands“ from Nabla is also beautiful! It is so creamy, and it is good to be applied using the finger as the brush doesn’t give it justice.
Kat von d holographic eyeshadow in ultraviolet is another pretty formula. I have long sinced decluttered the other three eyeshadow from the palette since I have long sinced hit pan.
The least I like from this basket are the eyeshadows from MAC. I just don’t find the formula really long lasting maybe because of the age, I’m not sure. The black one I used for my brows and thankfully my brows remain intact the whole day.
Last but not the least I liked the peach shade from Wycon Cosmetics. I used that a lot on my crease. While the green shade is not easy to use. I had to put on the blue shade together with it and I’d be honest, I didn’t touch it that much.
We are nearing to closing down this series of my make up collection.
In this article, I am showing you the only lipsticks that I have as of 2021.
I don’t have that much, I have panned and decluttered lots of lip products in the past and here is where I am at.
My lipstick collection
I am really happy about this small number of lipsticks that I own currently because it gives me less pressure to finish them up. I would be able to use and enjoy them at the same time.
I’m gonna start with the oldest lipsticks that I still own up until this year.
Maybelline new york matte colorsensational lipstick
This used to live inside my kit back then. This is from Maybelline. It belongs to the matte colorsensational line, it’s called: wickedly white. Yup from the name itself it is actually white. It is great to include in your kit if you are a MUA because you can mix it in with the different shades of lipsticks that you have.
This is the oldest in this group. And I have been consistently using it right from the beginning of January 2021. I didn’t carry it this month because I guess it’s more than enough. The progress is so visible now. At least I got to use it more.
The formula is great, and I have loved Maybelline New York lipsticks. I had another one in the past that I have finished up and truly enjoyed. With this white lipstick I was able to play with the other lipstick shades that I own.
Mac Cosmetics lipsticks
I like these lipsticks a lot. Again these were living in my kit. I practically bought these to use for other people. It’s the first time I ever bought stuff from MaC Cosmetics. The formula is creamy and easy to apply, but be very aware that being matte they are quite drying so you have to moisturize your lips a lot. I have the shades kinda sexy which is a nude shade and tropic tonic leaning towards peach.
Equilibra Love’s nature
These are pretty new. I didn’t buy these. These are given to me by my dad. I’m yet to try these lipsticks. The shades are not my jam. But I don’t mind. I’m curious about this brand being vegan. This is called Equilibra Love’s Nature. The two shades are both rosa delicato which is light pink and the other one is borgogna intenso which is a dark plum shade.
Cosmi milano sparkle
Cosmi Milano Sparkle is another brand that I am not familiar with. It is made in Italy. This is actually a metal shade in 302 rose gold. Again I didn’t buy this, my dad gave this to me. I haven’t tried it yet but I am so curious. I am not really sure if the shade will suite my skintone.
Bella Oggi Italia color affair shine
This one is Color Affair shine from Bella oggi italia. This is another local brand and it is available in a lot of retail stores.
This shade is particular as it has glitter in it. It’s so cool because I never tried anything like this before. It is a red lipstick with small specks of gold in it. I am not a lover of reds when it comes to lip color but this is intriguing as I think it is very unique.
I already used this and have been included in my make up baskets several times. The color is actually beautiful but the formula isn’t the best.
Bella oggi italia vinyl hifi
Bella oggi Italia vinyl hi fi liquid lipstick is another find by my dad lol. The color is so beautiful guys. This is the type of lipshade that I would wear everyday. I just swatched it only and I have yet to try this on my lips so I am really excited to use it! I hope it is a long wearing lipstick.
Lipstick swatches
I’m ending this article with these swatches. I hope you enjoyed reading. Have you tried any of these brands and shades? Let me know in the comments, I’d love to hear from you.
See you on my final article in this make up collection series! Ciao!
As you can see, I don’t have much! All I want you to know is that I have religiously used my eyeshadows through the years.
For now, as of 2021, and as we near the end of the year, this is where I am at.
My depotted single eyeshadows and eyeshadow palettes
I am gonna start off with my Nars magnetic palette. I also want to mention that I have magnetic palettes because I used them back in my kit. But now, I have decreased my items like what I said so I am able to depot some of my palettes and I combined some with the single eyeshadows.
I only have a few single eyeshadows. I really do prefer palettes to be honest with you except maybe MaC Pro because Mac as used by most Professional Make up Artists, they offer palettes in which you can put in the single eyeshadows that you prefer to be able to build the palette. Aside from Mac, I have purchased and have been able to try out the following:
Wycon Cosmetics
-I have a couple of colours, these are numbers 10 peach and 85 green. I must say that these are huuuuge. And I have tried the peach shade as a blush. But it isn’t that great for the cheeks Lol But it’s perfect for the eyes. I use it a lot for my crease. While the green shade, I barely touched it. I don’t know why I got the colour because it is not easy to use at least not for a natural everyday look. The formula is nice, not really long lasting in my opinion but blends well. It is not that pigmented but you can build it up.
Nabla
-I have the shade Virgin Island. This is the first and probably the last Nabla make up item I will ever try. I guess I was just curious. But the brand doesn’t really inspire me at all. It is made in Italy who ‘s able to dominate the international scene. Despite that fact that I don’t care that much about the brand, this shade is amazing. I like it a lot. But then again, it is not a shade which is easy to use. The formula is nice. It is more vibrant if you use your finger rather than the brush to apply it on the lid.
Make up Geek
-this is pretty neutral. The shade is called mesmerized fouled eyeshadow. And I have had this shade in some of the palettes that I own, and that is the main reason why I haven’t reach for it that much. So I cannot really comment about it apart from the fact that the shade is really pretty and a natural everyday colour. So this is really nice to use as an overall eyeshadow for the lid. It is made in the USA and make up geek became well known because of youtube.
MAC
– I bought these mainly for my kit. I have one single eyeshadow called carbon that I depotted from the single eyeshadow packaging. And I own the pro palette and unfortunately I wasn’t able to complete it. I only got five single refills.
Sour lemon yellow
Cobalt purple
Kelly green
Electric eel matte blue
Fresh water dark blue
These are not that cheap that is why I can’t let them go. Again these are shades that are pretty normal shades except for the green and yellow. Unless you do a colorful look.
I used to like these. I don’t know about the formula, but maybe because they are getting old that the pay off isnt that great anymore. As a result, I don’t reach for them that much. I mean, I pulled them out of my kit meaning to use them for myself but wasn’t inspired to.
KVD holographic palette
-this is a palette that I truly sincerely love. It is the curiosity that got me. During that year, KVd exploded. I wanted to buy lots of her items, but the only one that I could afford was this palette LOL honestly, I’m not gonna lie, I couldn’t justify the price of her foundation, eyeliner, etc. she is not high end but not cheap either. And during that time I already had foundations that I love. I saw this at the store and I fell in love. If you are curious, I also reviewed this in my channel
The packaging is gorgeous and unique. The palette has 4 shades inside. And it can be used for both eyes and cheeks as a highlighter. And that is to me a bonus. The colours are so beautiful and holographic but, I never thought of using purple, blue and green on my cheeks hahaha pink is acceptable as a cheek highlighter but the other shades aren’t. I love using these for the eyes. I hit pan on the other 3 and got rid of them as they were old already and this is the only remaining shade that I kept because I want to hit pan on it as well. I am keeping it until then.
Lorac Pro
-this is what I want to say, if you are looking for a perfect neutral palette. I mean, P-E-R-F-E-C-T, I highly do recommend this. It has everything, from white to black, to lighter shades and darker shades, you have mattes, transition shades, crease shades, outer v shades, you have a glitter, you have shimmers, from gold to copper, I mean, it is all in there. Whoever created the colour story is genius. I have never tried a lot of palettes I must tell you, but in just one look, this is the one.
I have this for quite sometime now. And the pigmentation is still insane. All of the eyeshadows, no exception, all of them are long wearing! If I will have a complaint, it is too powdery. But with the pay off, I don’t even care, you can always tap your brush, be light-handed, clean the fall outs afterwards. It is a bit of a nuissance but I can control it after all. I kind of suspect that they are pressed pigments but it doesn’t say that they are. My overall review is that the palette is gorgeous, some of the eyeshadows I practically finished and some I hit pan on. These are the only remaining shadows that I want to pan before letting them go.
Urban decay palette
-This is the third palette that I have ever owned from urban decay. And I like the formula, it is almost at par with the quality of the Lorac palettes. The packaging is gorgeous but it is too bulky that is why I decide to depot the eyeshadows and just get rid of the packaging. I didn’t want to but I had to. I didn’t have a lot of space in my drawer. And this is a palette that I don’t intend to keep for a long time. These aren’t really my shades. I only bought this because of my kit. So I’m still gonna keep these until I would hit pan on them. This is not budget-friendly and I got this only because of the sales.
Viseart bridal satin palette
-This palette is suuuuuper expensive guys. I wouldn’t have bought this in another life LOL if I wasn’t building up my kit, I wouldn’t even have considered this. Viseart palettes are expensive but there is a reason why this is the go-to brand of the professional make up artists. This is what you call a professional brand in line with Mac Cosmetics. I would be honest with you, I actually prefer these eyeshadows over Mac.
These are mainly shimmers that are dispensable for doing wearable natural make up looks.
I highly do recommend this.
Again, it pains me to get rid of the packaging because it is also part of the cost. But I do want to combine this with my other eyeshadows.
Now let’s discuss the other eyeshadow palettes that I have.
Viseart petite pro 1
-same goes with this palette, it’s as good as the bridal satin palette. I love this palette especially during travel. This is so small and cute easy to carry and put inside the make up bag. It has a small mirror. The shades are perfect for an everyday effortless look. It includes black, white, gold mattes and shimmers. It’s a reduced version of the Lorac Pro palette imo.
Natasha Denona mini sunset palette
-this is a mini that I got mainly because of wanting to try a Natasha Denona eyeshadow formula. The brand is expensively wow. Now I want to give my two cents about this. Maybe because of the mini version, I don’t know if the quality is much low because of the price point. But the formula is meh. The mattes are amazing but the shimmers and metallic is not long wearing, they look great on the lid but don’t last at all. So this is a no for me. The hype is too much in my opinion.
Marc Jacobs style eye-con no.3 106 the rebel
-the rebel palette packaging is sleek and elegant. Very luxurious. It’s even encased in a pouch with a mini applicator included. The formula is good but not great, blends well, dry formula, not powdery at all. This looks sophisticated if you ever bring this with you. I’ve mentioned this a bunch of times in my channel,I like bringing this with me during travels back when there isn’t Covid yet. It is either this or the viseart palette. I use these shadows both for the eyes and the face. The darkest as an eyeliner, the fuscia as a blush and the lightest as a higlighter.
Pupa Milano haute couture miss butterfly cofanetto trucco
-this is new to me. And this us actually new. It is still inside the box so I haven’t tried this yet. So.. no comment! I’ m just gonna let you know in the future!
Deborah Milano color symphony palette
-the original packaging is sooo bulky! So I depotted them all and it wasn’t difficult because they are removable and that inside the kit is another smaller palette in which you can compose the colors that you like. Beauty and Bliss magnetic palette is my personal palette. So I decided to fit them all in there plus the mini palette which is actually cute.
The formula is not pigmented at all. I had to dip in my brush really hard to get the color. It’s a shame cause the mattes actually lasts long. The shimmers are not really shimmers though LOL
Deborah Milano small palette
Another palette from Deborah Milano. The formula is consistent with the other palette, packaging is also bulky. I really am not impressed. These are not expensive at all, Deborah Milano is a local brand made in Italy but the quality is almost quite there especially the mattes but there is something missing and not appealing, maybe the packaging or the colour story, it is just too much.
Urban Decay Moondust palette
Last but not the least, the tantalizing: moondust palette from Urban decay.
Do you see how beautiful it is! If you are into glitters, guys, this is a-ma-zingly beautiful. I can’t recommend this enough. The only thing to keep in mind is that you have to have a glitter glue with this. This is kinda messy to apply just like all loose glitters or pressed glitters. But it’s just amazing. There’s just no words to describe it. The theme is moondust! And it really is celestial in that sense. Oh heavens! If it is still available I would tell you to try this but unfortunately, it is not anymore.
Even if I’m not gonna use this palette maybe I’ll keep it just for a remembrance!
So those are the eyeshadows that I own as of this year. If you’ve reached the end, thank you for reading and I will see you again on my final two articles about my make up collection series. Ciao!
Through the years I have always been so careful about eyeprimers. I only own one at a time. Because I always thought this is one of the make up items that is hardest to finish up.
I only got a few when I was at the make up school and when I was freelancing.
As of this year 2021 I currently own these two:
Eyeshadow primers
The only eyeshadow primer that I currently use everyday.
To be honest this is not the best eye primer I’ve ever tried. I haven’t been able to test out lots of brands but so far this is in the middle. Not the worst! I mean, the eyeshadows look vibrant and relly nice even with the eyeshadows that has a crappy formula lol. But not the long lasting formula that I would like.
This goes a long way. It is still pretty much full and I have this for more than a year now.
But there was a time back last year when I stopped applying make up. And I am just relieved that this is still intact and didn’t go bad at all.
This is a glitter primer from Nyx. The only glitter primer I have tried and this was living in my kit back then. This is why it is pretty much still full.
Personally, I am not a lover of glitters so I couldn’t use it for myself. I think I will just keep it until it goes bad. Anyway I am not in a hurry because it is the only one that I have. Just in case I’ll need it.
What are some of the best eye primers you’ve ever tried? Maybe after I finish the UD Primer Potion I would get to try another one fromanother brand. Thank you in advance to your suggestions!
This is the set of make up items I chose for September
I started my monthly make up basket this year 2021.
I purged into my make up collection and started to plan the make up items that I will use every month.
We are now officially entering into “Ber” months. So I decided to just share each make up basket every month until the end of the year.
It’s September!
Deborah Color Symphony make up kit
This is the mini palette included inside a huge make up kit from Deborah Milano. This is called the Color Symphony make up kit. If you are curious to know more about this palette, I recommend you watch the video on my youtube channel in which I did a first impression review.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Make Up
My all time favourite foundation is Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Make Up. I’ve repurchased this again and again over the years. This is the only complexion product that lasts on my extremely oily skin.
This shade is called 1N2 Ecru and I am halfway thru it. The shade is actually lighter than my skin tone that’s why I try to mix it with my other foundations but I promise you, the formula is bomb. And I’m hoping to use it more if not finish it up as usual like all of the ones that I used up in the past.
Essence Brighten Up banana powder
I’ve originally purchased this for my under eyes but I like it so much and I use it now to powder my whole face. I’m excited to finally finish this up! Look at that pan!
Lastly, I chose 4 lip products to use this month.
Maybelline New York Color Sensational matte lipstick in 889 wickedly white is a constant product each month. I really want to go hard on this because it is getting old that is why I included it ever since I started my make up basket this year. I use it before applying any other lipstick.
The mini Nars Velvet matte lip pencil in Cruella was part of my August make up basket. There is a little bit left so I decided to just go on and use it more this month until it’s gone.
Mac matte Tropic Tonic is the lipstick of the month. If I finish the Nars lip pencil I have this lipstick to finish up.
To finish it all off, the lip gloss of the month is from Flormar Supershine lipgloss in 110 Bronze Statue. I am not a fan of lipglosses that is why I’ve only tried a few and I own just a couple. Surprisingly, I am enjoying this a lot.
