Anti Wrinkle Milk Cleanser

I am just at Upim when I came across this Nivea Product. Again, I have been so fond of Nivea for the last recent months and I can’t wait to try them all LOL!

This one in particular, I didn’t even know exists. But now I just think it is underrated! What got me in particular is the make up removing aspect. Aside from being a product in the Q10 line which I am so happy about discovering, I still like exploring other skin products.

It says in the product description that it effectively removes make up and impurities and cleanses it thoroughly leaving the skin hydrated, silky and smooth. This is suitable for all skin types and sensitive skin. And for my age, I appreciate the anti-ageing property!

The two important ingredients which work wonders for the skin are:

Pure Coenzyme Q10 with a double power of action: it protects the skin celles from external aggressions and replenishes skin cells with energy helping them regenerate better
Creatine is an organic acid that strengthens the skin’s fibers. The product is suitable for contact lens user

I was quite confused at first. I have imagined this to be more of a cream detergent that I can use to wash my face with using water. In fact I did it that way the first time LOL! And then I wondered why it isn’t foamy like other cleansers!

But when I looked closely on how to use it and why it isn’t soapy or foamy, this is how it can be used:

Wet the face
Apply the milk and massage it into the skin
Remove with cotton or a soft cloth

So water isn’t necessary at all. And that I can incorporate it in my skincare routine because I do admit and already told you that it is not always possible for me to wash my face everytime. So this product is okay with me if not perfect!

It does removes waterproof make up really well especially eye make up which has always been a struggle for me, especially mascara. This is exciting because it does go almost at the same standard as my micellar water, even better if I am being honest. It is a game changer for me!

At first I was skeptical as I have always been with face products in general but little by little I started to use this also all over my face, I didn’t have any problems being a sensitive skin type gal. No irritation at all, no itchy feeling. I sincerely recommend it! I’ve been using this for weeks now and it is ten out of ten rating for me and I will definitely repurchase this again!!!

Another plus is that it is also affordable, so if you want to try it, Nivea won’t break the bank.

Q10 Anti Wrinkle Day Cream

I have posted this when I got this for the first time, and now that I have been using it for weeks, I can finally say what I think about it.

Although products need to be constantly used for many more months. As I believe that a product will only be effective after some time has passed.

Nivea products got me recently. And it is not a secret, LOL! I have tried and featured a lot of products here in my blog, mostly I would say are positive things.

The pore minimizing part got me. I have always wanted a moisturizer that might actually be a good base for make up and would act as face primer. So when I saw this, it hit all the bases that I would want in my everyday cream: moisturizing, anti wrinkle, pore minimizing with an amount of spf!

The two main ingredients are Q10 and Seeweed Extract.

According to the product description, this day cream has the following features:

It claims to visibly reduce wrinkles after just 4 weeks
Refines and minimizes pores
Firms and smooths out the skin after 2 weeks
It has the purest Coenzyme Q10, 100% identical to the skin’s Q10
The algae extracts has anti-bacterial properties
It has proven anti-wrinkle effectiveness for combination skin
anti ageing
skin is balanced and revitalized
it contains spf15

I will say immediately that this is not a favourite out of all the ones I have tried from Nivea. My skin had issues so I don’t think I will purchase this again.

Unfortunately when I used it on my face, my skin reacted almost immediately after a couple of days. I had itchiness especially on my cheeks where I concentrated the application of the cream because of my pores. I continued using it for days and weeks to make sure it is not an initial reaction but the itchiness on the skin of my face is still the same. So I decided to just apply it mainly on my neck area. Strangely, I didn’t have any problems at all, so that is my only solution for this product to not got to waste. I apply it together my Nivea Spf and the original blue Nivea Cream.

This is just my experience and it wouldn’t be the same as everyone’s. I believe in Nivea’s products, and if you think this might be for you then try it. Nivea products are also affordable so it is not an issue for the budget as well.

Lipikar Balm Light

I have already featured this balm in one of my articles. And you all know how I love almost all La Roche Posay products.

This product has to be added to my most loved LRP products. It is such a great addition to my skincare routine.

This is a repairing balm with anti-itch and anti-recurrence action for very dry, atopic-prone and allergic-prone skin.

I am so happy they have developed a light formula which is a little bit less thick than the first one. I think this is developed for hot and humid weather.
This balm is anti-itch,-gives immediate relief to the skin.
It actually moisturizes dry skin areas and restores the skin barrier.
This can be used by both children and adults. It is adviced to be applied morning and evening. I use this both times and apply it to my face and body without having issues at all. This is a formula for sensitive skin types so it is very safe to use for us sensitives.

The main ingredients:

Niacinamide

It is an active ingredient that helps relieve the sensation of itching and restore the skin’s barrier function

Shea Butter

an essential ingredient in all Lipikar formulas.

It helps restore the skin’s hydrolipidic film

I have tried and tested this balm and it imhas earned its place in my skincare routine. Even though I have redness and some itchiness, this will relieve all skin issues like magic. It is gone the next day. I highly do recommend this, guys!

Skin Cream

I have featured a lot of Nivea products here in my blog. I am quite surprised and satisfied so far.

This is another cream which I haven’t really gotten to like in the past. But now as I continue using it, it is quite nice.

It is a very simple cream but I have used it on my face, hand and body. And my skin is ok, no issues of irritation at all.

According to the product description, it is intensely moisturizing and can be used daily. It is appropriate to all skin types and it is safe for both children and adults.

Its main ingredient, Eucerit, has unique hydrating properties.

Glycerine is also present which we all know by now is very good for the skin.

And panthenol for the regeneration of the skin.

I super love this mini which I bring with me in my everyday pouch. It is such a cute packaging.

Honestly, I don’t mind owning this cream, it is very basic and so useful for hydration. I just don’t like the consistency which may be a little bit pasty for my liking. I prefer the white version because it is softer.

Overall, I am not mad. And it is a complete turn around because I have quite avoided this cream in the past and now it turns out to be better than I thought plus my skin approves!

Refreshing Facial Toner

I have raved about the facial cleanser and toner that I have used since I was a teenager. And I did also talked about it in my youtube videos as well. That is such a very important part of my skincare, but guys, I think I am saying goodbye to that product.

It is not because I don’t like it anymore and it doesn’t work anymore on my skin but simply because it is unsustainable for me. It’s really hard to find these past few months so I surrender.

I want a product that is easily accessible here in Rome or at least here in Europe and that I don’t need to pay tons of money for.

So I finally decided to look for an alternative, and lo and behold! I found this from Nivea!

Refreshing Facial Toner
Fase Beauty — 200 ml bottle

I have been loving Nivea products lately and I took a dive even though it is risky lol! But it’s fine, this is pretty affordable, and I finally found a treasure.

This is Nivea Refreshing Toner Enriched with Vitamin E and Lotus Flower with Hydramine known to effectively retain skin hydration. This refreshing facial toner gently tones the skin removing last residues of dirt and it refines the skin, too.

I like the ingredients and it does hydrates and refreshes, leaving the skin healthy and refreshed. 99% confirm glowing skin after use. Plus it is safe to use daily. And I agree! I haven’t had any issue. Fortunately my skin didn’t have allergic reactions, I am so happy. Although it is targeted towards normal and combination skin, it really works fine for me!

It is quite surprising to be honest, but I am glad about the result.

I slowly introduced this on my skincare routine, using this in the morning and the other brand that I love which by the way is the last bottle, I still use at night. I did this so that my skin won’t be shocked at the change of product. I guess I can totally use this without problems now.

This is also vegan, guys. So for you all out there, this is another choice for you.

I recommend this if you are looking for a good toner!

Purifying Micellar Water

I have been pretty constant with my micellar water. I don’t try a lot. Once I know that the product works for me I tend to just repurchase it again and again. But this is given to me by my dad and I got the chance to try it out.

This is from Venus XXL Purifying Micellar Water for face, eyes and lips 400ml bottle

This is specifically formulated for combination and oily skin so even though I was skeptical at first, I thought, why not, maybe it will work for me.

According to the product description this micellar water:

• Removes make-up: the “micelles” capture every trace of make-up.

• Purifies: with purifying mint extract, it eliminates impurities and excess sebum, leaving the skin fresh and clean.

• Rebalances: Virginiana Water with its astringent action rebalances sebum production and ensures a mattifying effect.

I do understand that this is formulated for oily skin that is why it has a mattifying effect, too. That is what actually kinda make me worry a little bit. I rather prefer something less mattifying but hydrating. The mint is fresh, and I surely do feel it on my face, I still wish they didn’t add that extract. I still prefer a “water” effect on my micellar water.

It removes make up just fine but still not quite great for water proof eye make up.

Guys, I am guilty of not washing my face sometimes especially if I get home so late so the micellar water is my water after all. It should function as water. hahaha I know it is wierd and it might be dangerous, too, please don’t follow this example. Please try to always wash your face after a long day especially if you have applied make up.

I make sure that I clean my face all the same even though I cannot do all the “complete” washing. I am pretty simple with my routine before bed and so micellar water is an important product for me. It should work well.

Venus micellar water is nice and ok, not the best in my opinion but I don’t think I will buy this using my own money. I am just grateful I got to try it.
