Let’s continue talking about make up. Yes, this has always been one of my favourites that is why I want to feature it here in my blog. I usually talk about the stuff that I love the most. As they say, this is one of my holy grails!
As described in Maybelline’s website. This concealer is the “Winner of Allure’s Best of Beauty Award for 2018 and the Spring Beauty O-Wards, Maybelline’s Instant Age Rewind® Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer makes the eye area appear radiant and refreshed in no time.”
And I truly believe that, I am a superfan. And the claims of being the best, yes it is! at least for me!
I don’t particularly have problems around my eyes, no dark circles at all unless I didn’t sleep well like most of us lol but nothing grave that I would want to cover or conceal. but I still use concealer just to brighten up my undereyes.
Now in my 30s though I do actually notice fine lines which Maybelline can still manage.
” Infused with goji berry and Haloxyl™ ” which I imagine is for the skin’s benefit.
This is marketed more of as an undereye concealer or corrector and yet I use this as concealer all over my face. It is not a secret anymore as I have discussed in my skin care articles here in this blog, I have a very problematic skin and I did had lots of acne in the past and Maybelline has helped me achieve a good base.
On their website, this is their advice on the application:
how to apply
Step 1. Twist collar of the Micro-Corrector Applicator in the direction of arrows until the concealer is visible on the sponge (it may take some turns on first use).
Step 2. Using the applicator, apply concealer directly to the under-eye area, blending in an outward motion.
Step 3. For extreme dark circles, apply the Neutralizer shade under concealer shade.
Step 4. To add a luminous touch, apply the Brightener shade to the inner corner of eyes, cheek and brow bones and, bridge of the nose.
Packaging may vary, what you receive may not be what is reflected on site.
Maybelline products are affordable so I think if you want to try this product, I highly do recommend it!
