This is a new find at the local supermarket. I got curious because again, i don’t think I have found any high-protein pudding ever.
And I should be honest I have rarely eaten a pudding as I have always associated it with a very sweet dessert. But this is a surprise because the sweetness is really suttle. I think the claim is that it has no sugar added. It is lactose free.
This one from Ehrmann is as what the name says, is high in protein, rich in milk and nuts containing 20g of protein! It has a variety of flavors available but I chose hazelnut.

100 g of product contains:
Energy 80 kcal
Fats 1.8 g Saturated fats 1.1 g
Carbohydrates 6.0 g
sugar 4.5 g
Protein 10.0 g
Salt 0.12 g
Ehrmann has a long 100-year-tradition and one of the first german dairy factories
but has now 6 establishmentes at the moment and is diversified in international level. It is sold in 70 countries all over the world. It remains to be one of the biggest company of milk production in Germany. And it remains to be family managed, independent and diversified. It is synonymous to quality and tradition.
In 1920, the dairy master Alois Ehrmann (Senior)
Founded the dairy factory as sole proprietorship and rented 5 years later.
By 1960, Alois Ehrmann (Senior) gave the post to his two sons Anton e Alois (Junior), who are equal partners.
And in recent years, in 2006, Christian Ehrmann took over the management of the family dairy in his third generation as the new CEO.
I just wanna say that if you are looking for a dessert but at the same time you don’t want to loose the opportunity of eating good source of protein, try this one out. I love the hazelnut flavor particularly. And I bet you would find the one for you:
- Vanilla
- Caramel
- Vanilla and topping
- Columbian coffee
- Chocolate
- Chocolate topping
Thank you for reading this article, I’ll see you on my next one!
